What Vaidosa means & its History:
Growing up, my mother use to always call me vaidosa.
Vaidosa is a Portuguese word that means a woman who
is vain.
However, depending on how vaidosa is used in a sentence,
it can also mean a
woman who is confident.
(Lets just say that I prefer the second definition better!)
So as I was
saying ... growing up, I was one of those girls who spent countless hours in the mirror brushing my hair while fantasying
about my "prince charming".
I even daydreamed that I was a princess, adored by thousands.
In
fact, I convinced myself that I was born from royalty & that my parents kidnapped me from the King
& Queen of England!
I confess, I was a total drama queen with a diva attitude!
But lets face
it, I'm not the only one!
I'm sure at least once in your life you checked your reflextion while
passing a mirror, you've spent at least an hour applying your make-up or fixing your hair, and you've asked
the question "do I look good or what?!"
Its okay, I completely understand!
Its perfectly
fine to have standards, its perfectly normal to adore nice things & take pride in how you look
and it's totally
acceptable to love yourself because you should!
After all, this is why I created Vaidosa Day Spa.
